Jimi Jung

Mr. Jung has been deeply involved in fencing in Korea and around the world. He founded the first fencing club in Korea (Lourus Fencing Club) and later became the Chairman of the Korean Collegiate Fencing Federation. He has also been an active supporter of US collegiate fencing programs, raising the funds that prevented Stanford University and Brown University fencing programs from being discontinued. He also founded the Korea-USA Elite Fencing Invitational (KUEFI), which is now called the Absolute International Collegiate Fencing Invitational. As Chairman of the LETS foundation and as Member of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, he promotes a balanced and healthy lifestyle for Korea’s youth. Mr. Jung earned an engineering masters degree from Stanford University in 2004.
